A 22-year-old Emirati woman has been into report that she hanged herself from a ceiling fan at her house in Ras Al Khaimah over a family dispute, as informed by the police.
Moreover, Colonel Salem Yousuf Al Za’abi, Head of Al Maamoura police station, informed the victim, identified as A.A.A., was found hanging around 9.30pm on Saturday by her relatives in their house in Al Sheirasa area. In fact, he said that the woman wrapped a piece of cloth around her neck and hanged herself from the ceiling fan in her room.
Police took down the body and moved it to the forensic laboratory for an inspection to determine the cause of her death while the preliminary investigations showed that the victim committed suicide over a dispute with her family. The case has been referred to the public prosecutor for further action.
On Sunday, the victim was buried at Al Hudyaibah cemetery.
As a concluding fact, Colonel Al Za’abi condemned such acts that people commit to escape problems while he added that it is contrary to their Islamic religion and customs and traditions of the UAE society.
It's really mournful to hear such pathetic death!
