Lal Krishna Advani known to be one of the founding members of India's main opposition party have resigned from all party positions on Monday, which took place a day preceding to the party's appointment of a controversial Hindu ideologue to lead its campaign in national elections next year.
L K Advani, the most senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, moved away to bring into prominence of his opposition to the elevation of Narendra Modi, at the moment likely the party's choice for prime minister if it wins in 2014.
Narendra Modi, the chief minister of Gujarat state, is has been charged with doing minimum in action in order to cease anti-Muslim riots in the state in 2002 which resulted with beyond 1,000 as dead. During the time he was never impeached with a crime on the contrary Modi's critics blamed him not be able to do much to cease the three months of intense rioting.
Modi was known to have refused any such charge with wrongdoing in regard to the fury on the contrary has never expressed painful regret.
