It's official the pixie cut is the 'in thing' in Hollywood now! With everyone, from Emma Watson to Rihanna and Michelle Williams to Miley Cyrus going long to “pixie' in a snip, even Beyonce couldn't resist shearing off her signature curls.
And her new look is just so “wow”. Exuding power and oomph, Queen Bey's pixie is a refreshing makeover for the singer!
Beyonce's hair stylist Rita Hazan quoted Beyonce's enthusiasm on the new cut: “This is who I am. I embrace myself. I'm strong and I'm still sexy.’
“Hazan, the premier colorist for celebs like Katy Perry and Jessica Simpson, dyed Bey's hair a champagne summer blond to soften the dramatic cut by Fort Greene stylist Neal Farinah.”
The diva has sported shoulder length bobs in the past, and donned afros and trimmed wigs. However, this is the first time that Beyonce — who is otherwise known for her hair-whipping and wind-swept curls — has gone this 'short'.
The Instagram pictures the 31-year-old happy and sexy in her new look in her dressing room.
