Yes! The Australian couple has done it again!
David Richards has once again cinched the Guinness World Record for putting up most number of Christmas lights on a residential home. The man has apparently put up 502,165 lights wired across 31 miles. Whoa!
Guinness World Records recognizing the family's charity feat has officially declared it as this year's winner.
However, this isn't the first time Mr. Richards has created a world record. Back in 2011, he had put up over 331.000 lights to cinch the record that year.
The twinkling bulbs, costing bout £1,400, will be lit up for a month. A local power company has apparently volunteered to pay for this.
"I have always loved Christmas. Having the Christmas lights with the community coming in and sharing it is a time when you get to know people you probably should know better, I guess," Richards said.
The spectacular light display is already open to the public, with scores of them already pouring in and posting videos on Youtube. With this, the family plans to raise children's charities including to fight Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
