Many participants from Golden Jewels Dance Group are giving special performances of film based dances at Discover India 2015 organized by India Association of Phoenix in the State of Arizona on 1 November 2015. The performances mainly focus on Dhol dances, Punjabi Bollywood dance and Bollywood medleys. This is fun and entertaining for not only for Punjabis, but for all who love Bollywood entertainment and Punjabi dance.

There are thousands of Punjabi migrants in the US, who are giving their best to secure Indian traditions and values. In fact, the earliest South Asian immigrants to the US were Punjabis, who mostly immigrated to the West Coast, particularly California. Nearly half of Pakistani Americans are Punjabis. Almost 85% of the early immigrants from Indian to the US were Sikhs and 90% of Indians who settled in the Central Valley of California were Punjabi Sikhs. And when it comes to dance, there is so much to talk about array of folk and religious dances of the Punjabi people, known as Punjabi dances. The style of Punjabi dances range from very high energy to slow and reserved. At Discover India 2015, audience will get to enjoy these amazing dance styles of Punjabi dance. Thanks to India Association of Phoenix for setting stage for such a great event.

A Dhol mix performance would be given by five little angels. It would feature an entertaining filmy folk dance full of dhol beats. Participants include Prayukta Meka, Anika Navghare, Nimisha Dubey, Gargi Udade and gauri gulati. Another one is an energetic fun Punjabi bollywood dance by group of 10 girls including Kashvi Gupta, Rhea Mathur, Mridu Sharma, Abhita Naik, Hasini Devi, Shritha sai Janga, Rutu Tashildar, and Bhoomi Gupta. They girls perform on Bollywood medley of punjabi wedding song and mauja hi mauja.

Six boys also perform in a group for fun Bollywood dance mix like maari entriyaan , saturday Saturday. Participants include Sriharsha Gundrai, Kavan Kamath, Krishiv Shah, Anay Sood, Tanmay Joshi and Anay Navghare. Audience will also enjoy another powerful performance by a group of four including Niraja Bari, Sneha Dam, sonal jain, and Ganga Kamath for bollywood medley.

Now, these are very few of many breath taking performances at the Discover India 2015 being organized by India Association of Phoenix in Arizona. This is not the one to be missed.
