let's watch Waarasa movie and awaken the social worker in you. The movie is based on a well known social worker, Shree Rambhau Ingole who has been supporting children from the red light area in Nagpur, India for last 30 years.
JKYog is organizing screening of Waarasa movie in Arizona. Don't miss! The event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 23 Apr 2016 at Prajakti and Satish Puranik’s residence (3518 East Nocona Lane, Phoenix 85050). The movie will be screened from 4pm to 6:30 pm.
The film has been created and directed by Mr. Arun Nalawade, who played a role in Oscar nominated movie 'Shwaas'. Rambhau has played the main character in the film.
According to the organizers, this movie is a must-see for all the people who care about well being of society locally and globally. This artistic presentation opens up our mind to the age-old problem of the vicious circle that prostitutes’ children have to face. We never thought it was our problem.
The movie is free for children younger than 6 yrs of age and the minimum donation is $10 per person. It will cost $5 for senior citizens at or above the age of 65.
The organizers are inviting you all to watch the movie. This movie also has English subtitles , so, you may bring your non-marathi, non-indian friends, as well.
