The event 'Sri Jagannath Ratha Yatra' is scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Hindu Temple of Arizona 3019 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. The program will be begin at 09:00 AM.
According to the organizers, usually the deities of Lord Jagannath, Balarama and Subhadra are worshiped within the temple, but on the day of the Rath Yatra festival they are taken through the streets so that everyone can have the fortune of seeing them. Richly decorated chariots, resembling temple structures, are pulled through the streets of Scottsdale.
The event highlights are Kalash Sthapana Puja, Haavan, Jagannath Puja, Pahandi Bijaya, Chhera Pahanric, Ratha Yatra, Cultural Program, Puja, Maha Aarti and Maha Praaad.
