Indian-origin girl, Ria Thimmaiahgiri from Indus International School, Hyderabad has been acknowledged by multiple universities including Johns Hopkins University, America's first research university and one of the finest avenues for research studies, Rice University, the private doctorate-granting Case Western Reserve University, and the Durham located Duke University.
Ria being an Indus Eagle Award winner as well Valedictorian awardee, earlier she organized a fundraiser in Ponnagutta Thanda village to aid in installation of street lights. This act was conducted by her to aid lesser fortune children acquire education for a gleaming future.
