A Tasmanian researcher named Vincent Lyne claims he has found the missing location of the MH370 plane. Lyne believes the plane was deliberately flown deep into the Broken Ridge, a 20,000-foot-deep hole in the Indian Ocean. He says this changes the narrative of the plane's disappearance, from a scenario of fuel starvation and a high-speed dive, to a carefully planned attempt by the pilot to make the plane vanish. However, Lyne notes that the plane's right wing struck a wave, and the discovery of its regular satellite communications by Inmarsat ultimately prevented the "perfect disappearance" the pilot had attempted.

The expert suggested that the damage to the plane's wings, flaps, and flaperon indicates it was involved in a controlled landing on the water, similar to the one done by Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger on the Hudson River in 2009. The researcher claimed that this confirms the previous assertion made by a former chief Canadian air crash investigator, Larry Vance, that MH370 had fuel and was running when it underwent a skilled and carefully executed controlled landing, not a high-speed crash due to fuel shortage. The researcher stated that the location where the longitude of Penang airport (the runway) intersects the pilot's home simulator track, which was discovered and dismissed by the FBI and officials as irrelevant, is where the plane is believed to be. This specific location has a very deep 6000-meter hole at the eastern end of the Broken Ridge, within a rugged and dangerous ocean environment known for its wild fisheries and new deep-water species. The researcher added that this area, with its narrow steep sides, surrounded by massive ridges and other deep holes, and filled with fine sediments, could be the perfect "hiding" place for the plane, and it needs to be verified as a high priority. Based on scientific evidence, we understand why previous searches were unsuccessful, and science clearly indicates the location of MH370. In summary, the MH370 mystery has been thoroughly solved through scientific analysis.
