An earthquake of 4.8 magnitude on Richter scale shook Delhi and its surroundings this afternoon. People ran out of their houses fearing threat to their lives.
The quake was felt in all areas of north Delhi, Ghajiyabad, Noida and Haryana, according to reports.
The epicenter of the quake was said to be at Bahadur Ghar. There are no reports of loss of life or property due to the quake. (J)
