Arizona, a southwestern state of US is most reliable for its sunny weather. The city’s preparations are in full swing for Christmas and New year.

Coors Light and Valley Metro are going to provide free rides on Arizona city on the New Year Eve. The free rides will begin at 7 pm on 31st December and will continue till the end of the regular service of companies.
 
According to officials, it is a step towards avoiding drinking and driving after the new year celebration.

The free rides will be offered on the Valley Metro bus and light rail routes.

Gene Giron, Responsibility Initiatives Manager for MillerCoors said that, “We hope commuters will choose to refresh their responsibly this New Year Eve and let Coors Light and Valley Metro be their designated driver, by working together with Valley Metro and Crescent Crown Distributing, we are helping to keep local roadways safe while raising awareness, that drunk driving is completely preventable.”

Describing the New Year as one of the busiest nights of the year, Mark Mitchell, Tempe Mayor and Valley Metro Rail Vice Chairperson said, “I am so glad that again residents and visitors alike can ride the bus and light rail for free this New Year Eve, We want those in our community to be able to travel safely on New Year Eve to festivities including the Block Party on Mill Avenue. We are grateful to Coors Light Free Rides for offering this opportunity to take  the free transit on one of our busiest nights of the year.”

“The holiday season is about spending time with family and friends, and we hope people enjoy their celebrations responsibly and safely, by bringing Coors Light Free Rides back to Phoenix on New Year Eve, Coors Light and Valley Metro are helping take countless cars off the road and keeping our community safe,” said Alberto Gutier, Director for the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
