Veteran Tamil actress Manorama urged media not to publish wrong and baseless news stories. On Monday media has reported her death, and later rectified the mistake.

Aachi, is having acting career of five decades in over 750 Tamil films including Telugu, Kannada, etc. She was unwell few months ago. While speaking to media she said, “I’m hale and hearty. Please don’t believe in any rumours about my death. I’ve recovered well and have also signed three new films. I’ll soon start shooting for them,”

The finest female comedian actress has got many awards and appreciations from various organizations and government.

It is not new to publicize the death rumours of actors, even if they are just hospitalized. Recently some media and controversial director created abuzz with K. Balachander’s death news (He was alive at that time), and Telugu actor MS Narayana’s ill story also converted into death story by media.
