We have all been there - returning home dead tired, so much so that you can barely keep your eyes open and the last thing you want to do is wash your face, let alone wipe off your eye makeup. So, what do you do? Prop on your pillow and doze off. Not happening!
No matter how dog tired you are at the end of the day, it is important to clean up every trace of makeup before you hit the sack. Sleeping with eye make up on could result in itchy, blood-shot, infected eyes. And you surely don't wish to wake up to such an unpretty sight, do you?
So ensure that you rinse off the skin around your eyes with a gentle cleaner or a ball of cotton dipped in rose water. Wait for five minutes and gently pull out those fake lashes from your lids. No dip a fresh ball of cotton in some rose water and wipe your eyes again. Wiping off your peepers with some olive oil will also help to take off all traces of eye makeup, leaving the skin hydrated at the same time.
