Every woman wishesh to have beautiful hair. But dandruff can mar the beauty of your tresses. The white flaky substance on your hair and scalp looks bad, besides giving bad impression about you. Dandruff can be easily treated at home and you don't need to go for expensive salon treatments. Here are some home remedies that will help you to get rid of dandruff.

Olive oil

Olive oil has certain natural clarifying properties that have been found to be effective in treating dandruff. Massage your scalp with olive oil at least two times in a week. Wrap a scarf around your hair after massaging. Let it stay the whole night so that the oil is absorbed by properly by your scalp. Follow this treatment till the dandruff is completely treated.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera gel is widely used in beauty care and treatment. It has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties that helps to treat dandruff. Apply some aloe vera gel on your scalp. Keep it on for around 40 minutes. Wash it off with shampoo and water.

Apple cide vinegar

Apple cide vinegar is also known to treat dandruff. It contains potassium that helps to remove dead skin effectively. Add a few drops of apple cide vinegar to water. Use this mix as a last rinse after shampooing and conditioning your tresses. Make sure that the vinegar you use on your hair has not been chemically treated.

Fenugreek seeds

Another effective dandruff treatment is fenugreek seeds. Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in water and make a paste of the seeds the next day. Apply this paste on your scalp and let it stay for 30 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. Continue this treatment once in a week for a month to get rid of dandruff.
