Javed Jaffrey, dancer and actor who have experienced success as a producer with Inshallah, Kashmir, expresses that now plans to direct a film and that it will happen soon.

Javed is known to have starting his journey with 1985 film Meri Jung, while he is known for his dancing skills and judged dance reality show Boggie Woogie with his brother Naved and actor Rohit Behl. Even though, he finds acting  to be most satisfying, he explains that directing has been on his mind for quite a while and he said that he have been wanting to direct a film for quite some time. Now finally, he have decided to direct his film as soon as possible while he reveals that he is working on two to three scripts.

Now, he hope to see how to make the first move towards direction, yet it will be soon, maybe by end of this year or probably next year.

Javed said that he wants to make a film with a social message.

Javed added that he like films which give a strong message along with some entertainment and he don’t want to make a film that gets tedious or gives lecture, but it would have a message with an immense amount of entertainment.

In the intervening time, Javed, who won a National Film Award for the documentary Inshallah Kashmir is enjoying his success as a producer.

Javed expressed that it’s very overpowering when people recognise our work and said he is also producing his next film, which is titled ‘BMW’. On the contrary, he personally feel acting is the most satisfying job for him than anything else, who was seen in films like Salaam Namaste and Double Dhamaal.
