Gaurav was known to have been working with Ekta Kapoor's production house for three years now. He rises up while he claims that he has been threatened for reporting the firm's malpractices. As a result of which Ekta Kapoor, and her parents, Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor have been caught in a legal state of commotion for quite some time now. Even last month, Ekta, Jeetendra and Tusshar Kapoor's homes and Balaji Telefilms’ offices had to face a disaster when were raided by the Income Tax department for defaulting on taxes.
Therefore now, the present scenario based on the tabloid news report said that chartered accountant Gaurav Chopra, who has been looking after the money matters at Balaji, has lodged a complaint with the Mumbai crime branch against Jeetendra, Shobha and others.
Another shocking factor prevails that Gaurav in his complaint to the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Himanshu Roy, have had declared that he was being blackmailed with false threats of police complaints against him while his salary was being restrained. Gaurav claims that during his association with Balaji, he learnt about declared “unprofessional and illegal dealings, unfair labour practices and high-handed attitude of the management,” and advised them to refrain from such practices but Balaji paid no attention to him on the contrary when he told Shobha that he wants to resign, she threatened to implicate him in a false case.
The scenario that prevails now have genuinely forced Gaurav to lodge the complaint to save himself from a criminal case pending against him at the Jogeshwari police station while In February, the production house had lodged a complaint of criminal breach of trust (Section 406 of the IPC), cheating (Section 420) and criminal conspiracy (Section 120-B) against him and the chief financial controller for recruiting employees without the HR department’s approval.
At the concluding phase, while bringing absolute shock as an impact of the action which was informed to the newspaper by inspector Mahadeo Wable of Jogeshwari police station that a criminal case was registered against Gaurav in February for causing a loss of Rs 1.5 lakhs to Balaji, yet Gaurav was granted anticipatory bail in the case.
Now, this incident makes it a predominant fact that money and corruption have always been maintaining very good relationship, that none of them tends to leave each other!
