Following the announcement that the sequel to 'Man of Steel' will feature both Superman and Batman, speculations are rife as to which actor will take up the role of the 'Caped Crusader'.

While actors like Jensen Ackles and Tyler Hoechlin are eying the meaty role of Batman, buzz is that the list of main contenders have been narrowed down to six. The list include names like Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Joe Manganiello, Richard Armitage, Max Martinin and Matthew Goode.

Grapevine tells that the makers are shying away from casting any big name for the movie and would likely rope in someone of Henry Cavill stature.
