A brand new trailer for Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice has arrived online showing the massive destruction during the battle between Henry Cavill's Man of Steel and Michael Shannon's General Zod, reported Ace Showbiz.

The trailer that landed after being screened for the fanboys during the Warner Bros panel at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend got a standing ovation.

Holly Hunter who plays a senator said, “Today is a day for truth. The world needs to know what he stands for. That kind of power is dangerous. Let the record show that this city holds him responsible."

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck's Batman himself says, "Twenty years in Gotham. How many good guys are left? How many stayed that way? He has the power to wipe out the human race, and I must destroy him."

Director Zack Snyder explained during the discussion at the fan-centric convention that they have done stuff in Man of Steel to launch this conflict.

"We put Gotham and Metropolis right next to each other. It makes sense for us in our story that they're kind of sister cities across a big bay, like Oakland and San Francisco," Snyder added.
