A satisfactory day at Melbourne Cricket Ground for the two sides as Indian side took crucial wicket of in-form David Warner very early and Australian batting department holding grip on innings as Captain Steven Smith played with consistent form and scored unbeaten 72 runs, Brad Haddin is also on crease with 23 runs. Opener David Warner ducked in the beginning of the innings only. Rogers and Watson added 115 runs to the second wicket partnership. Mohammed Shami and Umesh yadav took 2 wickets each and Ravichandran Aswin has taken one wicket.
