India Vs Australia: All rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of Australian series.
Pandya ruled out of both Two match T20I and Five match ODI series against Australia.
BCCI has named Ravindra Jadeja as replacement in One Day Internationals. As far as T20I series is concern no replacement is announced.
Earlier, last year in September Hardik Pandya sustained an injury in first match of Asia Cup and was ruled out of that tournament and also subsequent Test, ODI, T20I series against West Indies in India.
He was also not part of T20 series and first Two tests against Australia in Australia. He was recalled into the team after two tests.
Thereafter, he was suspended for making controversial comments on Talk Show Koffee with karan. So, he missed the ODI series in Australia.
Later, Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) lifted the suspension on Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul.
Pandya later joined that team in New Zealand where he performed well in ODI series. But did not fare too well in T20I series.
This is certainly a big blow to Hardik Pandya because only few months left before World Cup.
In his absence Vijay Shankar may get more chances to impress the team management to confirm his berth in world cup squad.
Australia Team arrived in India for limited overs series and 1st T20I will be played in Visakhapatnam on February 24.
