Good news for the Telugu audience. Pawan Sehrawat will join Telugu Titans for the KPL season 11. Haryana Steelers bought Mohammadreza Shadloui on the Day 1 auction, which was held on Independence Day. Pro Kabaddi has started the auction for Shadloui for Rs 1.725 Cr and the bid went to Rs 2.07 Cr. There was an intense rivalry for Pawan between U Mumba and Bengaluru bulls, but by the end, Pawan landed in the Telugu Titans team. Telugu Titans have left last on the table in last season and even don’t have better players, so this season they have decided to stick with the best players. Pawan was the third person to come up for auction on Day 1. U Mumba has started the bidding and Pawan’s old team, Bengaluru Bulls, has raised the bid for almost 70 lakhs and the mark has crossed Rs 1 Cr very quickly. But somehow Telugu Titans ended the bid.

They officially shared this on their social media by writing “With great pleasure, we welcome back Hi-flyer @pawan_sehrawat_17 as our first pick for PKL Season 11 at ₹1.72 crore!” Mohammadreza Shadlouli came to the auction. Nearly six teams came in front to bid on this Iranian man. Patna Pirates and Telugu Titans were first on the list who started to bid on him. Very soon UP Yoddhas entered into the bidding and then Yoddhas and Pirates went on with the bid and the U Mumba entered into the fray before Gujarat Titans. The price was hiked up to Rs 1.80 Cr, with the competition raised between Giants and U Mumba. At one point U Mumba decided to exit the race and somehow even then the price rose up to Rs 2 Cr. By the end the Steelers had finally got their man by the end. Puneri Paltan did not enter the race to Shadloui because they had only Rs 2.05 Cr left in their kitty for auction.

The auction has a total of 500 players, including the top players, Pawan Sherawat, Fazel Atrachali, Mohannadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh and Vikash Kandola. The pro kabaddi has a slot for 212 players for 12 teams. The players were divided into four categories A, B, C and D and they were also subdivided as All-rounders, Defenders and Raiders. A category player's base price is Rs 30 Lakhs, B Category price is Rs 20 Lakhs, C Category price is Rs 13 Lakhs and D category price list is Rs 9 Lakh. On day one Sachin Tawar was bid by Tamil Thalaivas with Rs 2.15 Cr, Guman Singh, Raider was with a bid with Rs 1.97 Cr, Maninder Singh was bought by Bengal with Rs 1.15Cr and Bharat Hooda was sold for Rs 1.30 Cr by UP Yoddhas.
