The Oppo Find X8 series was launched in India on Thursday as the first smartphone powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 chipset in the country. The lineup consists of the Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro, both equipped with four 50-megapixel cameras tuned by Hasselblad. The Oppo Find X8 series runs on Android 15 and the company's ColorOS 15 skin. The standard model has a 5630mAh battery while the Pro model has a larger 5910mAh battery. The price of the Oppo Find is Rs 79,999. Color options include Space Black and Star Gray. In India, the Oppo Find X8 Pro is priced at Rs 20 lakh with a single RAM and storage configuration and is priced at Rs 99,999. This device will be available in pearl white and space black colors. Customers will be able to purchase the Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro.
Both Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and support dual-SIM connectivity (Nano+Nano). The former features a 6.59-inch LTPO AMOLED display (1256 x 2760 pixels) that refreshes at 120 Hz, has a maximum brightness of 4500 nits and a pixel density of 460 ppi. The Pro model features a 6.78-inch (1264 x 2780 pixels) LTPO AMOLED display with a pixel density of 450ppi and the same refresh rate and maximum brightness level as the standard model. These are the first Indian smartphones to come with MediaTek's Dimensity 99400 octa-core chip, based on TSMC's 3nm process technology. Both models feature up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The Oppo Find Megapixel with f/2.6 aperture. Both Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro support 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and GPS connectivity. The device is equipped with a USB Type-C port, but the Pro model supports the faster USB 3.1 connection. The phone also has an infrared (IR) transmitter that can be used to control home appliances. Both models feature an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and optical fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Oppo has the Find It also supports 10W reverse wireless charging.
