According to the National Reporting Centre, Arizona has been ranked seventh among states for the most UFO reports. It is believed that more than 3,100 reports have been posted on UFO reporting website in the last 15 years. To mark their presence, Annual International UFO congress is held at Phoenix, Arizona.
The 24th Annual International UFO Congress was attended by hundred of UFO enthusiasts. The event which was held at Mc Dowell Resort was addressed by renowned speakers who spoke on a variety of subjects including aliens, abductions and Unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
Last month nearly 1, 30,000 pages of declassified United States Air Force files on UFO sighting and investigations were compiled on a site. The site's founder, John Greenwald, spent years filing Freedom of Information Act requests for the government's files on UFOs
According to an Air Force fact sheet, they stopped investigating after concluding "no UFO reported, investigated and evaluated by the Air Force has ever given any indication of threat to our national security" and "there has been no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as 'unidentified' are extraterrestrial vehicles'.
