In a world where everyone is online, finding applications that are couple centric is not that tough. Hell, you can even meet someone online and fall in love with them. The social media giant, Facebook, has now come around with their latest launch, Tuned – an application dedicated to couples.
This new app, Tuned creates a private social networking space for the couples wherein they can share their own experiences, pictures and moments and look back on them as they grow older.
The application has been developed by the New Product Experimentation team at Facebook. Some of the other apps that the team have produced include a meme making app along with an app similar to the layout that Pinterest has, named Hobbi.
Much like their other social media platforms, even Tuned is a multimedia application that allows its users to chat, send pictures, voice notes with photos, among the other available features. But, since it is meant for couples, you get to share that with your partner and it is a community between the two of you.
The application also allows the couples to use dedicated widgets that can help share their mood, feelings or even what they are up to in that moment. The app also lets its user to integrated Spotify to express themselves through music.
Tuned also comes with scrapbook style feed that allows the couples to make, share and keep memories for them.
The application is completely free to use, it doesn’t charge any subscription fees. Also, you don’t have to have a facebook account to be able to use Tuned, so that again is an added bonus.
But, much like Facebook, the data that you are providing on Tuned is going to be used for ad retargeting, which is a feature that you find on facebook as well.
The launch of this application has been on one of the best time of the year, especially when people are at home and self isolating to avert the impacts of this global pandemic. Since couples are likely going to have a hard time apart, this app is most definitely one of the best launches during this tough time for the couples around.
This application provides the couples with a medium to keep a check on their relationship, grow their bonding even when apart and just have a feed of memories that they can look back on.
