King Nagarjuna is currently on cloud nine after the release of his last movie Soggade Chinni Nayana and the movie ended up as the biggest hit in his career and it crossed Rs 50 crore mark in its final run. He is now getting ready for the release of his next movie Oopiri which will release this Friday.
Nagarjuna and Karthi played the lead roles in the movie which has been directed by Vamsi Paidipally. Tamannaah played the female lead in the movie and Gopi Sundar composed the music. Top producer Prasad V Potluri produced the movie on PVP Cinema and Nag pinned huge hopes on the film.
Going on to his next project, Nag will play the lead role in a devotional film that will be directed by K Raghavendra Rao. The movie has been titled Om Namo Venkatesa and Nagarjuna will be shown as Hathiram Baba who is a devotee of Lord Venkateshwara. The pre-production work of the film is currently under process.
As per the latest we hear, Nagarjuna will lose weight to suit the character of Hatiram Baba. He will be seen in a lean look for the movie revealed sources and the regular shoot of the movie will start from May this year.
