Story
Kalyan (Nithin) is a fun and happy going guy who is not engaged into any aspect. He falls in love with Kavya (Yami Gautham) and he tries to impress her. In order to marry her, Kalyan finds job in a private courier company as a delivery boy to visit Kavya’s office on regular basis. The film takes a turn when he has been asked to deliver a parcel which belongs to a group of doctors. A dreaded gang starts following Kalyan and the rest of the film is how Kalyan escapes from this situation and win in his love along with his life. Watch Courier Boy Kalyan to know about the rest.
Analysis :
The first half of the film has been fresh and decent throughout. The romantic scenes have been captured well and an interesting twist during the pre-interval episode makes the first half end on a decent note.
The second half of the film dips down badly because of the clumsy narration and when you try to induce the commercial elements in an interesting movie, the main plot gets deviated. The songs though they have been shot well are the biggest barriers and disappointments for the film. The climax has been hurried up and on the whole the second half lags much.
Performance :
Nithin has been thoroughly entertaining as Kalyan and he carried the film on his shoulders. He has been fresh and energetic throughout the movie. Yami Gautham has been decent in the limited role. Ashutosh Rana plays an important role and he has been outstanding as always. All the other actors have done their best for the movie.
The story of the movie has been very interesting and it has been a new concept. The screenplay has not been gripping enough and the songs are the main disappointment for the movie. Though they have been shot well, they have been misplaced. The editing has been poor and the cinematography of the movie has been decent. The production values have been grand enough and the director failed to narrate an interesting script in an engaging way.
Final Word:
Courier Boy Kalyan will fail to entertain the audience though it has an interesting concept because of the bad narration. Nithin’s performance is the only asset for the film. Can be ignored
