AkkineniNagarjuna has teamed up with Tamil young actor Karthi for a multistarrer and the movie has been directed by VamsiPaidipally. The film has been titled as Oopiri and is the remake of French super hit movie The Intouchables. Oopiri is in final stages of shoot and is named as the expensive film that has been made in the career of Nag till date.The makers are quite careful on the movie and they have been promoting the film through the social media circles. Tamannah is playing the female lead in the movie and the shoot of Oopiri will be wrapped up by the end of this year.

VamsiPaidipally has been extra cautious during the scripting stage of the film and the makers are now in plans to release Oopiri on February 4th, 2016 across the world. The movie has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. The audio of Oopiri will be released during Sankranthi next year and the music has been composed by GopiSundar. Prasad V Potluri produced the film on PVP Cinema banner. Nag is also shooting for his upcoming movie SoggadeChinniNayana. Directed by debutant Kalyan Krishna, Nag will be seen in a dual role and he will be seen romancing Ramya Krishna, LavanyaTripathi in the movie.
