The film has been made on a strict budget of Rs 3 crores and is released through Geetha Arts all over. Taxiwaala collected a theatrical share of Rs 19.95 crores in ten days across the globe which is huge.

Rahul Sankrityan is the director and Vijay Devarakonda played a cab driver in this action thriller. Priyanka Jawalkar is the heroine and GA2 Pictures, UV Creations are the producers.
