Tollywood is the only film industry that is reopened completely after the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic. Ravi Teja's Krack was the first blockbuster and Uppena is the second blockbuster of the year. After two back to back hits in January and February, Jathi Ratnalu emerged as the next blockbuster for Telugu cinema. Made on a budget of Rs 4 crores, the film collected a theatrical share of Rs 27.95 crores in its first week and the film is still going strong.
Jathi Ratnalu is expected to collect Rs 40 crores in its final run and will end up as a massive hit. The theatrical rights are valued at Rs 11.5 crores. The film will also emerge as the first 1 million dollar film in USA after the attack of coronavirus. Jathi Ratnalu is directed by a debutant Anudeep KV and it has Naveen Polishetty, Faria Abdhullah, Rahul Ramakrishna, Priyadarshi, Murali Sharma, Naresh in the lead roles.
