Nandamuri Balakrishna is back with a bang and his recent offering Akhanda is a resounding success at the box-office. Boyapati Sreenu directed the film and Balakrishna played a dual role in the film. Akhanda also had Pragya Jaiswal, Srikanth, Poorna and others in other important roles. Akhanda is made on a budget of Rs 70 crores and the theatrical rights are valued at Rs 50 crores. The film collected a theatrical share of Rs 66.72 crores in 18 days and the film had a strong third weekend across the Telugu states.

With Pushpa's rampage all over, Akhanda witnessed packed houses on Saturday and Sunday across the Telugu states. Thaman's background score is an asset for the film and Miryala Ravindar Reddy bankrolled Akhanda. The non-theatrical rights of the film are picked up for Rs 45 crores. Balakrishna is on cloud nine with the super success of Akhanda. The actor's celebrity talkshow Unstoppable is also a roaring success and the show reported record number of views.
