King Nagarjuna took a swift call after the postponement of RRR and Radhe Shyam. He decided to release Bangarraju during Sankranthi and the film released on January 14th across the globe. Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya played the lead roles in this entertainer and Ramya Krishna, Krithi Shetty played the female leads. Bangarraju did well during the holiday season and ended up as a decent hit. Nagarjuna was busy with the promotions of the film and took a small break before he returned back to work. The actor has The Ghost lined up and the film is directed by Praveen Sattaru.

The makers of The Ghost will resume the shoot on February 3rd in Dubai. A high voltage action episode will be shot in this episode that will last for 15 days. Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan will participate in the shoot in Dubai. Kajal Aggarwal was the leading lady but she walked out of The Ghost due to her pregnancy. It was then Sonal Chauhan came on to the board for the film. Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and North Star Entertainment are the producers of The Ghost. The film will have a release during the end of this year.
