Anudeep KV created a sensation in Telugu cinema with Jathi Ratnalu and the film collected more than Rs 50 crores after it was made on a budget close to Rs 5 crores. Anudeep was in demand and he directed his second film Prince which has Tamil young Superstar Siva Karthikeyan in the lead role. Anudeep penned a script for a small film which was titled First Day First Show. Vamshidhar Goud and Lakshmi Narayana directed the film jointly. Srikanth Reddy, Sanchita Basu, Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy and Thanikella Bharani played the lead roles in this comic entertainer.

First Day First Show released today and the response has been quite poor. The openings too are quite dull. Anudeep is slammed for his poor writing and bad script selection. Tollywood actor Edida Sriram and his daughter Srija Edida produced this film. Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the pre-release event of First Day First Show recently and blessed the team. Right from the making to the release, the film offers nothing interesting. First Day First Show will end up as a huge flop. Vaisshnav Tej's Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga too released today and the response has been mixed.
