AICC secretary Mr Krishnamurthy, who arrived in Hyderabad early in the morning, held consultations with chief minister Kirankumar reddy and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana.

Immediately after meeting them, Krishnamurthy began the exercise of meeting the Ministers and MLAs from each district separately at the CLP office in the assembly premises.

Though the Congress party has officially announced he was meeting the ministers and MLAs to elicit their opinions on the appointment of DCC presidents, reconstitution of PCC executive and other organizational matters, speculation is rife in political circles that the party high command has sent him to elicit the opinion of leaders on the possible change of CM.

There is also a feeling that the Congress party has been trying to know the mood of the MLAs and ministers on the issue of Telangana.

After completing the exercise, Krishnamurthy will submit a report to the party high command in Delhi. (J)
