The Telugu Desam Party is all set to launch its poll campaign from the auspicious temple town Tirupathi. The party confirmed that the party leader N Chandrababu Naidu shall address a meeting on the 9th of this month in the town. This will be almost a launch of canvassing for the forth coming by-polls due in 18 constituencies. The TDP activists would like to make the meeting, a mammoth gathering, which could boost the confidence levels of the cadres.
The TDP leader shall on the 10th to meet party workers and discuss the various strategies that need to be adopted for the polls. The TDP Chief shall also be in the town on the following day to meet the leaders from the Rayachoti constituency. It is much speculated that the by-polls in Tirupathy might see a senior actor hailing from the district to be nominated by the party. The by poll in Tirupathy became imminent as the sitting MLA Chiranjeevi had been nominated to the Rajya Sabha recently. The critics feel another popular actor shall replace him as the MLA for the temple town.
