The Telugu Desam Party supremo and former chief minister, N Chandrababu Naidu is touring Kadapa district today as a part of the by-election campaign.  He will be campaigning till evening in Rayachoti assembly constituency after which he is scheduled to hold an internal meet to discuss various affairs pertaining to bypolls that may even include strategies for winning public confidence.  After this hour long meet, Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to tour Kammapally, Lakkireddypally, Neelakantaraopeta and Guvvalacheruvu.

It may be noted that Congress has got a strong position in these areas given the fact political charm that late Y S Rajashekara Reddy had. Now that the leader is no more, TDP is reportedly pinning up hopes for sweeping in these constituencies. Other advantage factors for TDP during bypolls in these areas include the ongoing Jagan illegal assets case. It has to be mentioned here that all loyal supporters of late YSR undoubtedly sympathize with Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and that the scope for Congress’ victory in Kadapa district are very little.

Also, Jagan has established YSR Congress Party and this party would be the strong contender for TDP in Kadapa district. It may be recalled that Chandrababu Naidu was in Tirupati yesterday, the former constituency of Chiranjeevi where he took on megastar turned actor.  Whether hewould take on Congress party or Y S Jaganmohan Reddy-in today’s tour- is a million dollar question.  (Phani)
