Man caught by Sharjah Police for selling hazardous devices...

Sharjah Police have arrested a man after being declared with positiveness to be selling handheld lasers known as Blue Laser which are dangerous devices and can burn or blind
victims.

According to police, the man was selling the units to potential customers using BlackBerry Messenger and social media. In fact, the Yemeni man F.S.M was declared to have sold
the devices to young men and children in Sharjah for Dh950 each.

Moreover, following a hint of warning, the Criminal Investigation Department at Sharjah Police tracked down the suspect while they found 10 devices in his possession.

Handheld laser devices can damage or burn skin depending on the intensity of the light emitted. Lasers have been banned in countries around the world after incidents of
aircraft pilots reporting that people on the ground point the laser beams directly into the cockpits of aircraft.

In fact, the suspected culprit used names of delivery companies operating in the country because he wanted to hide his identity for fear of being discovered by authorities.

To conclude, the suspected culprit has been referred to public prosecution for further scrutinizing. Moreover, Sharjah Police have cautioned the public against buying or
operating laser devices.

After all there is a saying, an empty mind is a devils workshop!
