The skies lit up with rockets and sparklers as the Americans unleashed fancy fireworks to commemorate their Independence Day.
Millions of spectators gathered across the country to witness the annual fireworks show.

Elsewhere in the country, throngs of revelers gathered to party and celebrate the day with booze, barbecue, music and patriotic parades.
