A woman's dead body was discovered in Northern Arizona Friday afternoon. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies are in look out for the murderer now!
The County Sheriff's Office have identified the suspected murder as William Hewitt, a resident of Mayer.
The officials located the woman’s dead corpse at around 1:30 p.m. in a remote area south of Mayer. The authorities apparently went looking for the missing woman after they received a call around 10:30 yesterday morning that Hewitt has murdered an adult female. A warrant has been already issued against the suspect.
The 29-year-old suspect, weighing about 180 pounds and 5 feet 11 inches tall with blue eyes, brown hair and a scruffy beard, was last spotted “around 10:45 a.m. traveling west on Main Street in Mayer driving a tan 1979 Ford pickup truck with a license plate number of AXG9504.” D’Evelyn suspect that Hewitt may be armed.
D’Evelyn revealed that the truck’s doors have “faded Humboldt School District emblems and the truck has running boards.”
If you have any information on the location of Hewitt or his pickup truck, please notify 911 or the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office at 928-771-3260 immediately. In case you want to maintain anonymity, call up Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
