An Arizona couple was killed in a single-engine plane crash in Bahamas last weekend.
Bahamas official have identified the dead as Glen and Leslie Steiner of Mesa, AZ.
The Cirrus SR-22 plane, which was registered to First Class Flyers LLC in Cicero, IN., crashed into the sea minutes after takeoff on Sunday from an airport on Grand Bahamas.
"All I know is that shortly after take off the propellers weren't spinning on the plane. (It was) a malfunction of the engine of some sort," said the couple's son, Rob Steiner.
"I'll always miss having someone to go to ask a question. There is nothing I couldn't talk to him about," he continued.
The Steiners owned One Call Plumbing Services and were well-renowned faces in the Mesa community.
"Glen's priorities (were) making sure we're making sure we're taking care of the customers and making sure we're taking sure of the employees. (That was) sometimes at his own expense. That's how he operated. That's the kind of people they were," said Jonathan Brewster, a close family friend, and the company's Service Manager.
Authorities have recovered the body and are investigating the cause of the crash now.
