Former Phoenix police Officer Richard Chrisman is served with 7 years sentence for assaulting and killing an unknown in October 2010 domestic violence call. The Superior Court Judge Warren Granville gave the judgment and opined that Chrisman used his powers out of law and which were not necessary.

However, the relatives and supporters of 29-year-old Danny Frank Rodriguez, who was killed were disappointed over the verdict and requested the Judge Granville to consider maximum sentence to the culprit. The labor group representing Phoenix officers who are supporting ex cop Chrisman were happy with minimal sentence and stressed it is an conspiracy.
