Tucson's Reid Park Zoo has some new members - four new born lion cubs.
Zoo officials say the cubs were born in December. A litter of five cubs were born to the mother, but only four of them survived.
Officials revealed that mortality rate for infant cubs is significantly lesser in zoos than the wild.
All four cubs are healthy and gradually gaining weight. However, the staff remains concerned about one male cub who seems to be weaker than others and growing slower too.
The litter was born to lions Kaya and Shombay. It's their second litter.
