A teenaged boy and his group of friends driving a pickup truck hit a man in a scooter, injuring him fatally. He died of his injuries and a 15-year-old driver has been arrested on suspect.

The fatal hit-and-run crash had taken place near Alma School & University.

According to Mesa police, the teenager was driving with a learner's permit and was trying to park the pickup truck at Jack In The Box restaurant when he hit the victim. The teenager fled from the scene after the accident.  

Police revealed that the victim was a 22 year-old man. He was fatally injured in the impact and died inspite of life-saving efforts provided.

The witnesses to the accident gave details of the hit-and-run crash to the police. Based on the descriptions of the witnesses, the authorities arrived at the house of the driver and arrested him.

Cops have not revealed the name of the the victim or the suspect in this hit-and-run case.
