Explosion at the Taser International plant in north Scottsdale, Arizona, Thursday injured seven people, who included one with critical burns, said authorities.

Officials of Scottsdale Fire Department revealed that one of the six injured was transported in serious condition to hospital, while others were in stable conditions with injuries that are not life threatening. However, it was not clear if the injured were employees of Taser. Authorities have not even released their names and ages.

Chris Schibi, Fire Battalion Chief said that nine others, who were evacuated from the plant refused treatment. At about 4:15 pm, the call for help came to the fire department. He said that it was immediately unclear about the way the explosion occurred and what has actually involved in the explosion. However, to determine what exactly happened, the city police along with firefighters remained Thursday night at the plant, working with representatives of Taser plant.

Taser plant develops, manufactures and distributes body-worn cameras, electrical stun guns, and few other items majorly used by the military and law enforcement.
