The Arizona Lottery opened a retail space at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix. The 500-square-foot space is located in the Terminal 4 baggage-claim area, on Level 1 and allows the purchase of lottery tickets and winning-ticket redemption.
The retail space includes a customer-service team, that will provide assistance seven days a week and one vending machine selling tickets and a lounge area for players to sit.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled to be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. to mark the grand opening. Arizona Cardinals President Michael Bidwill is expected to join lottery and Sky Harbor officials in speaking during the ceremony.
The members of the public at that time will be illegible to buy Arizona Cardinals Scratchers tickets, before the game’s official launch in September. Buyers who purchase a $5 Cardinals Scratchers ticket that day, will receive one entry to win Cardinals game tickets, and they get to spin a prize wheel.
The service at the lottery space at Sky Harbor will be available on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
