Vigils, Protests against Trump's victory across US!

In the wake of the surprise victory of Republican Donald Trump in the United States presidential election, vigils and protests flared up across the country. Protesters marched through the streets of Washington, New York, Austin, Chicago, and other cities.

Hundreds of demonstrators spilled across Union Square and then marched to the Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan, New York chanting, "Donald Trump, go away! Sexist, racist, anti-gay!"

A crowd of hundreds of mostly young protesters gathered and candlelight  marched outside the White House. They also marched outside the new Trump International Hotel.

Marion Hill, 22, said that, "I'm disappointed, shocked, a little panicked for my friends and family for everything that will be unleashed, the hate that will be unleashed."

"I'm trying to not be angry and trying to find more positive way to express my reactions. I don't think anger will help," said Kate Lasso, 57.

"I just felt waking up today that I was waking up to a whole new world, to a nightmare for my parents and people I care about and love," said Tony, a 23-year-old line cook who marched carrying his 6-year-old daughter on his shoulders.

On the other hand, Trump's rival in the election, Democratic Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama urging their supporters to accept Trump's victory.
