International Cruise & Excursions (ICE) has moved its headquarters to a new location, which is at Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community.
The relocation is the latest in a long line of activity in the area.
The company moved to Riverwalk Arizona, 7720 N. Dobson Road in a 155,000 sq ft facility, which is approximately 25% larger than their previous corporate headquarters located at 1550a n. Dial Blvd.
The company’s co-founder and CEO Marcia Rowley said: “We are excited that this opportunity aligns with our 20 year company anniversary, making 2017 an exciting year of new beginnings for the entire organization.”
“The new space allows us to better serve our partners and expanding business, while providing team members extraordinary working space and amenities. Our new headquarters location also allows ICE to attract job seekers from other areas of the Valley including Mesa, Chandler and Tempe to name a few.”
The Pima Maricopa Indian Community region has been a hotbed for development in the recent few years, with the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, which is where the Colorado Rockies and the Arizona Diamondbacks face each other at the Cactus League spring training and the location for the Butterfly Wonderland, Roadhouse Cinemas; IFly Phonenix, Russo and Steele auto auction, Dolphinaris Arizona; a TopGolf driving range, the Odysea Aquarium and the Phoenix Rising soccer stadium.
ICE employees more than 2.300 people across in five offices across the United States and six international locations including England, Mexico, Australia and Portugal with corporate satellite offices in Singapore and India. The company is now planning to hire around 875 people for corporate and sales positions.
ICE provides travel experiences to more than 55 million customers around the world and it is one of the businesses in the states, owned by a woman.
The company made approximately $730 million in revenue in 2014.
