Arizona Telangana Cultural Association (AZTCA) celebrated their first ever stunning and exuberant event on Sunday, Oct 1st at Indo American society, Phoenix. This majestic celebration of Dasara and Bathukamma Sambaralau 2017 at Arizona represents the cultural spirit of Telangana in its true splendor.
And this celebration was truly blessed with the participation of largest ever number of Telugu People in Arizona. This huge gathering is a representative of our moto; Celebrating Unity and Fraternity in its true magnificence.
Its a proud privilege to have witnessed such huge gathering at one place. Everyone came with a single objective to cherish the rich and glorious culture of Telanga in Arizona.
A grand 8 ft bathukamma primed by Yamini Guduru and her friends remained the center of attraction. Placed right at the center of the hall, this scintillating and exquisite Bathukamma mesmerized everyone with its delicate floral arrangements.
It was not just the Telugu fraternity but entire Indian community was spirited and participated in this unison of our rich cultural heritage and tradition. People from far and wide attended this grand event, including Indians from Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, Peoria, Show low, Sun City, Glendale and Mesa. Thus making this event a heartening extravaganza.
The grand success of this event marks yet another feather in the cap of our organizing committee for the absolute decorum and fascinating order of events. Beginning with offering gratitude to the divine Maa Durga through an enticing Durga Pooja followed by Alai Balai. Alai Balai is the most riveting Telangana style meet and greet with Jammi leaves exchange.
Then came the absolutely delightful performance of Telugu women of Arizona. These women dressed in vibrant traditional sarees adorned some of the most glittering jewels truly representative of our ethnicaura.
After the stunning Bathukamma dance, Telangana Cultural events kicked off in its true auspice and grandeur. Then came the melodious Gollamallamma Kodala song by young and beautiful lasses, dressed up beautifully. They truly enlightened the event with their mesmerizing performance. Even the little Telugu Indians were upbeat with their brilliant performance which was truly awesome and enthralling.
A melodious and heartening Bollywood performance by Mr Prabhjot Gill and his group from Phoenix Desi events and entertainment mesmerized everyone. The hilarious timing of the event anchors Suresh Reddy and Monica left everyone in splits throughout the awesome evening.
Adding further to the rich exotic cultural event, the sumptuous and delectable veg and non-veg food from Biryani Bites was relished and cherished by all. The event ended with an invigorating freestyle Dhoom-Dhaam dance performance including entire families on dance floor.
This magnificent event is truly a reflection of Indian spirit in Arizona and our rich cultural heritage. Graced by the esteemed Telugu people of Arizona, Sri. Venkat Kommineni, President of AZ Telugu Association & revered Mrs Jyothi Reddy, Board of Director for Telangana American Telugu Association, this event is a rightful representation of our communal harmony and spirits. Sri venkat and Mrs Jyothi congratulated the organizers and appreciated the participants for this grand endeavor bringing out our rich tradition and heritage.
Special mention about the earnest efforts of the organizers who have contributed largely to the events success. Mr Praveen Madishetty, Mr Praveen Samala, Mr Prashanth Kumar, Mr Chenna Reddy, Mr Murali Sabbani and Mr Ram Nalla have pioneered the first ever Telangana cultural event to a glorious and majestic extravaganza bringing our community to celebrate this grand event.
