The federal judge has refused to throw out the ruling explanation that shows Arpaio is guilty of the crime. The judge said that pardon doesn’t erase the conviction.

However, Arpaio wants the ruling thrown out as a bid to clear his name and he wanted it to be thrown so that it couldn’t be used in further court cases.    

Judge Susan Bolton said that the pardon only changes his punishment. This Conviction was made for Arpaio's disobedience of court order to stop his immigration Patrols.

Judge Susan has that Pardon would stand and the case was dismissed. On Thursday decision will be appealed, said Arpaio's attorney.
