Arizona state is now the most recent state to allow its farmers to grow Industrial hemp.
The Governor of the state Doug Ducey signed the legislation on Monday, that funds a pilot program for cultivating hemp.
With passing of permits, the fiber form of Marijuana could be used to create a variety of products, like building materials, food, paper and textiles.
The authorities in the office of Gov Ducey, said that at least 34 states have already passed legislation to industrial hemp, and this product would help economy of Arizona.
The new law confirms that, growing hemp here cannot contain over 3 percent of THC, which is dangerous psychoactive element os marijuana.
The harvesters, growers, processors and transporters will be required to get a license from the state agricultural department, the passed over legislation also states that, penalties would be imposed for anyone who violates the requirements.
