The United States President Donald Trump is considering a plan to prohibit entry of migrants at the United States' southern border with Mexico and refuse them asylum, according to a report by Washington Post on Thursday.

With a procession of Central American migrants trekking through Mexico towards the United States, the White House is contemplating whether to shut the border and deny them the possibility to seek asylum in the United States, the Post said, citing unnamed administration officials.
